We had a Burns Supper in January. It was a great afternoon. We ate some
Scottish food, did speeches, had some Scottish entertainment and did
some ceilidh dancing. We found out a lot about Robert Burns and the
Scots language.

One of the speeches was called “The Immortal Memory” which was all about
Robert Burns’ life and his poetry.

Two of the boys did a speech to the lassies and then the boys stood up
and said a toast. They said, “Gentlemen, will you please stand and join
us in a toast tae the lassies!”.
